It is with much sadness that we must part with my wife's beloved little car - but realism dictates I will never get round to finishing the restoration.

The car in concours condition once won first prize in the Gosport classic car event and has been shoen on the VPOC stand at Alexandra Palace. We've ownedd the car since 1993. It is currently in a large lock up barn with other classic cars in Bedfordshire.

I have replaced the front wings and front panels, the rear subframe and the engine has had a professional top end rebuild. It has been dry stored for several years and comes with masses of spare parts - including new hubcaps and rechromed over-riders.

It comes with all the original paperwork, and every receipt. Plus there are original BMC workshop manuals and red hardback owners handbooks also available.

Please contact me at astonbits@hotmail.co.uk to arrange a viewing. Offers in the region of £800.

I pull 'em apart, and if you're lucky, put them back together again.

AIMS OF THE CLUB

a) Generally to help and encourage members to maintain these fine cars in good running order and appearance.

b) To organise rallies and meetings nationwide, and to field an annual Show Day. Members can compete at these events for trophies, these being awarded for the best cars in restoration, and most used classes.

c) To offer technical advice to those people seeking help. We also help those not wishing to carry out their own repairs, as some of our members are motor engineers and specialise in the various models within the club.

d) Spares are offered for sale through the club magazine, and several of our members have stocks of spares for sale.
