2002 Rover 75 Vanden Plas
History:
Original car build date 2002 (records of exact month not available). The car was built as a Rover 75 Connoisseur 2.5 V6 SE Auto and was then sent to coachbuilders, MacNeillie & Son for conversion.
A considerable amount of time was spent searching for one of these cars. I purchased this car in 2017 from a film props company who apparently bought it for use in a TV serial soap funeral scene.
It had had five previous owners and was in a very poor condition both inside and out and mechanically.
I have spent a fair amount of time and money restoring the car. I use the car regularly and continue to try to bring it up to a good presentable, useable condition.
There is still a lot of work to be done!
